potato harvest

My potato vines had died back - they are those tan colored stalks there. That means it's time to dig up the potatoes!

It's not like growing other vegetables because you can't  be sure if there are really potatoes forming under the ground.

Yee-ha! It looks like I've got some!

Here's what I got from 4 plants ( I had dug one up a few weeks ago).

There's probably about 3 pounds or so.  I put my hand in the picture to give you an idea of the potato size.

I am getting a few more cucumbers...

And a few green peppers...

I still have at least one more butternut squash that will ripen too.
