more about Branson

The Titanic Museum was the first thing on our schedule in Branson.

The building looks like the ship on the outside (or the front half of it anyway).

Pretty interesting. A lot of photos and reading...a few artifacts. Very well presented.

In the afternoon we went to a matinee performance at the Pierce Arrow Theater. It was a variety show...comedy and singing.

The show we saw later that evening was our very favorite...Presley's Country Jubilee. No pictures were allowed but I found this one online that is the same show that we went to.

Very talented musical performers including a "fiddler" and an unbelievable harmonica player!
The comedians were hilarious!  We were exhausted from laughing so hard!

The second day we had free time in the morning then we were off on a cruise on a Paddle Wheel Boat named the Branson Belle. You can see the red paddle wheel there in the background.

On board we had a meal while a comedian was on stage.

Then there was a break and we could look around the 4 levels of the boat. There is the paddle wheel behind us from inside.

Hmmmm, so nice up here on top. Wonder why no one else is up here?

Because the stage show had already started inside!  The lights were out so we just slipped into a balcony seat upstairs. We didn't miss much.
Wouldn't really recommend  this attraction. Food not so good and show was nothing special.

That evening we went to the "Sight and Sound Theater" to see "Jonah", a live performance of the Bible story of Jonah and the Whale. It was a huge theater.. a huge stage...a huge production!  Live animals on the stage...the actors coming out into the aisles. Quite a show! No photos allowed.

Up early the next morning for the trip home. A nice smooth ride with stops for lunch and for ice cream. More DVD's to watch helped to pass the time. Arrived home not nearly as tired out as if we had been driving in the car.
